End-of-Year Update: May 29 - June 1, 2018

Hello, everyone:

I hope that you have enjoyed the three-day weekend. A few important items help us close out the academic year this week. Please take a moment to note the schedule and announcements below.

I also encourage you to bookmark the band website and Facebook page. Keep tabs on these throughout the summer as announcements, reminders, and information are shared. Being an aware and active member goes a long way in helping you be a successful member.

I am appreciative and grateful beyond words for your kindness during the last few weeks and your cooperation during the last four years. As we close this year, remember that you have taught me things that travel with me. I use your lessons to motivate and drive me, with the promise that I will one day teach them to others, and that will do my best to honor the trust and confidence you placed in me. Use this moment as your opportunity to demonstrate what you’ve learned. Be open, be patient, be kind, be willing to try new things. In keeping such a mindset, you will truly demonstrate that you “do what you know, ‘cause you know what to do.”

Warm wishes for a great summer break. I am excited to follow your success moving forward.

Colonel Pride!

Mr. Stanley
