Spring Training Update
Thank you for your patience as weather and facilities scheduling prevented us from holding Spring Training yesterday. We have developed an alternative plan to provide the information you need to be successful as a member of this ensemble.
On Monday, May 21 the WFHS Percussion and Jazz Ensembles will present a concert at 7:00 p.m. in William Fleming’s Dickinson Auditorium. The performances should last around 40 minutes. All WFHS band students are required to attend this performance as a part of their final exam grade. We hope many parents will also choose to attend and support the hard work of these ensembles.
Immediately following the performances, we will deliver the Spring Training presentation in the auditorium. At that time, calendars, forms, and other information will be presented. It is vital that you receive this information. All high school marching band students are required to attend with a parent or guardian. Any rising 8th or 9th grade student (and parents) who is signed up for marching band is encouraged to attend the concert and remain for the meeting.
We are committed to providing clear and concise information. We will do our best to keep the meeting to 30 minutes or less following the performance.
