Mr. Eric Henriksen is the Band Director at Lucy Addison Middle School and the Assistant Marching Band Director at William Fleming High School. He started teaching at Lucy Addison in the Fall of 2014 after graduating from James Madison University. Mr. Henriksen holds a Bachelors Degree in Music Education with a minor in Jazz Studies. 

 

Mr. Henriksen grew up in Massachusetts, but fell in love with Virginia, and the Roanoke area quickly. During his time in Roanoke he has maintained a saxophone studio and presented Master Classes in the area. Mr. Henriksen has enjoyed performing in the school musicals at William Fleming High School and with the William Fleming Jazz Band. 

 

Mr. Henriksen is excited to work with the William Fleming Marching band this year and continue watching the program develop. Let’s go Colonels!
