WF Band Weekly: Nov. 27 - Dec. 2, 2017

We hope that you all have enjoyed a restful and joyful Thanksgiving. We are back in full swing this week until the end of the semester. December is always a busy time for musicians; I look forward to celebrating the season with excellent music.

ALL fruit orders and money are due on Monday, November 27. We must place the order on Tuesday to ensure delivery before Christmas break. Monday is a B-day. If you have class on A-days, do not forget to drop off your orders/money to the band room by the end of school.

Band Boosters, on Monday anyone available can check-in with the front office as early as 2:30 to assist. If you are coming at 3:30 or later, you may use the band room door. After we have finished tabulations, we will have a brief meeting to discuss December calendar items.

Tuesday, November 28

All District Help/Practice Session – 3:45 – 5:00 PM
All are welcome to come and practice in this open session. Special attention will be given to the All District etude and audition material. You are not required to stay the whole time, but you must be in the band room by 3:45 PM and you must be practicing. All students must have transportation by 5:00 PM.

Announcements, Updates, Information

Attention Band Boosters: We are moving the December meeting to Monday, November 27. This is the date the fruit orders are due and we need some assistance tabulating and submitting the order. You may check-in with the front office as early as 2:30 and come to the band room to assist. If coming after 3:30, you may use the band room door. After tabulations, we will hold a brief meeting to discuss the Christmas parade and winter concert.
Please make sure you secure your concert attire. This is ALL BLACK (no exceptions)! For more information on appropriate concert attire, please consult pg. 15 of the band handbook, available here.
