WF Band This Week: November 6-11, 2017
This week’s schedule and announcements are below. Wind Ensemble will perform for the annual Veterans Day Ceremony and Marching Band will participate in the Veterans Day Parade. The fruit sale continues, and we are moving ever closer to the Winter Concert.
Band Schedule – November 6 – 11
Monday, November 6
Marching Band Rehearsal – 3:45-5:00 PM
Please note the ending time and ensure you have arranged transportation for 5:00 PM!
Band Booster Meeting – 5:30 PM
We will begin promptly at 5:30 and the meeting will be brief!
Tuesday, November 7
No School
Thursday, November 9
Wind Ensemble Rehearsal – 3:45-5:30 PM
Friday, November 10
WFHS Veterans Day Ceremony – 8:30-10:15
Wind Ensemble should report to stage by 8:30 AM
Attire: Concert Black
Saturday, November 11
Veterans Day Parade – 9:00 AM - ~12:30 PM (Marching Band)
Attire: full uniforms

There is only one marching band rehearsal this week: Monday, November 6, ending at 5:00 PM.
Please make sure you secure your concert attire. This is ALL BLACK (no exceptions)! For more information on appropriate concert attire, please consult pg. 15 of the band handbook, available here.
Next Week – November 13 - 15
Tuesday, November 14 – All District Audition Help Session – 3:45-5:00
You are not required to stay the whole time, but you must be out of the halls and in the band room by 3:45. Any staying the entire time should have transportation arranged for 5:00 PM!
