WF Band News: May 29 - June 2, 2017
We hope that everyone enjoyed the Memorial Day weekend. This week, we celebrate the class of 2017 through our participation in graduation. Please review the graduation orchestra memo and see the schedule below.
Also, please refer to the previous post about important marching band information. Although it feels like things are over for the summer, preparations for marching band are gearing up and important information will continue to be distributed. This week, take some time to make sure all your paperwork is in order for participating in the 2017 edition of the Marching Colonels! Check out this post for more information.
Band Schedule– May 29 – June 2
Monday, May 29
No School – Memorial Day
Tuesday, May 30
Graduation Orchestra Rehearsal – 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday, May 31
Graduation Orchestra Rehearsal – 8:40 – 10:45 a.m.
Those who are exempt from A1 exam, please report to band room for rehearsal with orchestra.
Teachers have received a list of students participating.
Students who finish their A1 exam may come to band room with their teacher’s permission.
Thursday, June 1
Graduation Orchestra Rehearsal @ Berglund Center – 12:30 – 3:45 p.m.
Report to band room by 12:30 p.m.

Graduation – 8:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Marching Band information is available on the website. Several pages provide information:
ALL EXAMS must be completed by 12 Noon on Thursday, June 1. This includes locker-clean out/instrument turn in. If you did not personally check-in materials with Mr. Stanley, you will NOT receive full credit.
Summer Instrument Check-Out is available. Please see Mr. Stanley in the band room.
