WF Band Weekly: Jan. 30 - Feb. 3, 2017

Please take a moment to read through this week’s news. Students should be participating in the Little Caesars fundraiser, practicing/completing homework, and be looking ahead in the calendar. Next week, we begin after-school preparation for Concert Assessment.

This week’s individual goal: “I will play all my concert assessment music from beginning to end with correct notes and rhythms.”

Spring Trip Update
The presentation from the meeting is available here.
Take note of the information regarding documentation of medication (pg. 9).
Bright yellow permission/medical forms were distributed. Please thoroughly complete and return.
Balance sheets and payment schedules were distributed for each individual. If you did not receive your sheet or have financial questions, please contact me directly.
We do have some open spaces for students and/or parent chaperones. If you did not originally sign-up for the trip, but would like to go, please contact me directly by the end of the day on Tuesday!
All open spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
These open spaces do require payment.
Rooming and bus lists were made available. Those who were not present or did not sign-up should see me during school.

Private Lessons
Students wishing to take an additional step toward improving their musical skills might consider taking private lessons during the summer and/or school year.
Many RCPS staff members teach during the summer at reasonable rates.
