Preview Show and Potluck Friday!

UPDATE (12:30 PM): Due to a football scrimmage, our show will occur on the band practice field if conditions permit. If the field is too wet or if it is raining, we will perform in the Main Gym of WFHS. Hope to see you soon!

We have been hard at work the past three weeks preparing the 2016 edition of the Marching Colonels! Our show and music are still a work in progress, but as band camp comes to a close, we are pleased to gather in celebration of all we’ve accomplished thus far.

This afternoon please join us at 5:30 PM for our Preview Show! This is a great way for parents, siblings, family, and friends to see what your students have been working so hard on during camp. Seeing this informal performance will also allow you to track our progress as we grow and develop throughout the season. We plan to hold the show in the stadium if the weather permits. If the weather is questionable or if it is a steady rain, plan to join us for a music only performance in the auditorium.

Following the show, we will gather for a potluck dinner in the cafeteria. Please bring a dish to feed your student and those attending.

Thank you for your support of your students this week. We have accomplished more this year than in the past two years combined. We are most appreciative for the dedication our students and families have shown in commitment to attendance.

P.S. – Band camp officially concludes on Monday, August 8, when we have our last half-day rehearsal from 8 AM – 12 PM. No lunch is provided that day and students will be ready for pick-up right at noon. For more information about the upcoming couple of weeks, stay tuned for next week’s email update.
