2017 Spring Trip Announcement!
This week, students received a pink packet of information regarding the Band’s 2017 Spring Trip. I am excited to announce that the William Fleming High School Symphonic Band will travel to Gettysburg and Hershey, Pennsylvania in a two-day trip, Friday, April 7 – Saturday, April 8, 2017. Our ensemble will perform at a clinic with Dr. Russell McCutcheon of Gettysburg College. We will also tour the Gettysburg National Battlefield and visit the World of Chocolate in Hershey.
The packet includes: draft itinerary of activities, payment information, fundraising opportunities, and chaperoning information. For your reference, an electronic copy is here.
Please ask your students about the packet. I appreciate you taking time to read about this wonderful opportunity! The back page is a commitment form. To secure a place on the trip, commitment forms and a $50 deposit for all attending participants are due on Wednesday, November 9, 2016.
